Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker and supermodel. Her stunning beauty Marie is reflected in her extensive career as a performer and actress. She started her career as a model during the 1970s before becoming one of the most prominent figures in modeling. In the decade that followed, she pursued studies in theatre and acting before making appearances on the stage at Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. For the year 1987 Russo portrayed Eden Kendell in the ABC drama Sable. She was Tom Berengers' love interest the following year with Major League, her debut film. Her consistency won the attention of critics who were wary of her acting abilities. They praised her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she competed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. In April of 2015, Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale that she won via technical knockout, less than three minutes in Round One winning the title. Not only winner of the title, but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA since this match was the only the first time that woman competed for a championship title within any significant promotion organisation in the world . Namajunas continued to win a few other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, earning her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
